My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous guy is Johnny. Many cat lovers will tell you that there are two reliable things in the cat world about picking a cat..........one is pick an orange cat as they are always great personalities, a bit on the goofy fun side. The second is pick a Maine Coon, as they are confident, outgoing, beautiful and sweet. Here, in Johnny, you have both of the best! Sweet, affectionate, beautiful,
playful.........there just aren't enough great things to say about him.

He has a hard luck story.........found on the streets, likely left behind when his people were foreclosed on, or evicted. Dumped outside, he was picked up by animal control, weighing only 8#, fur shabby, very sad. He then spent 3 months in a cage before coming to Divapets. After a bath and lots of grooming he came to a foster home where he has the run of a large house, toys, warmth, good food, and love. He responds by giving that love right back. Johnny is now 12# and ready to go to a forever home. One really big plus for Johnny is that he had a complete dental and has lovely shiny white teeth and no tartar now. Dentals cost approximate $200 to $300, so you can see this is a big plus for this boy.

His fur is soft and his coat is downy and lovely He has cute bushy eyebrows, and a russet colored M on his forehead. White feet, apricot to orange coat and a white/buff belly, along w/ gray green eyes to complete his handsome self. Handsome as he is nice.

Johnny is an outgoing cat, loves to have his belly rubbed, adores the grooming comb, plays gently, goes after a laser beam with gusto, and generally is a great cat. His foster Mom thinks he could easily be trained to do tricks as he is very alert, intelligent, curious, and takes direction well. He gets along w/ other cats, probably would do well with older kids, likely would be okay w/ a dog (but that is an unknown), and wants his forever human to keep the love coming. Heeere's Johnny............you will never regret adopting this fellow. Call his foster Mom, Harriet, at 816.444.7321 w/ questions or to come see this guy. You will fall in love just like she has.
