ADOPTED!!!
Clare - female, spayed, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-),~1 years, ~50lbs, Black and Tan Coonhound.
Clare was found by a good citizen when she wandering a neighborhood. Clare is microchipped and when her owner’s were contacted to come and retriever her they said they didn’t want her back because they were going on vacation and didn’t want to waste money on boarding her…

Clare is a very sweet young girl. She seems to have had minimal obedience training though she is nicely mannered and she is house trained and crate trained, she is happy to sleep in her crate at night and when left alone. She gets along very well with other dogs and would be a great second dog, she’d also be fine on her own. She is good with respectful children, we haven’t had her around any cats. Clare is just too cute! She is true to typical Hound and loves to follow her nose, she loves to be outside with her family and just sniff the day away. Given that she is such a scent dog she needs to be leashed at all times unless in a securely fenced area. Clare is great with people and loves attention. Clare has a great disposition and would love to find an active family that understands Hounds. She needs a good brisk daily walk and off leash time at a FENCED off leash area is ideal. She is relatively quite as far as hounds go but like any normal dog she will let you know when someone is at the door with that lovely hound dog bay. She is a pretty girl with a beautiful disposition to match. Clare is sure to exceed any hound lovers expectations of a great hound dog. She is friendly, loving, personable and social. Clare really needs a house with a fenced yard, no apartments/condos.
