This dog is currently fostered in Oak Creek, WI

Breed/Age: Teddy is a pit bull puppy, approximately 11 months old.

Size: Teddy is about 35 pounds right now and close to his maximum weight

Activity Level: Teddy has a moderate activity level. He has bouts of “puppy” energy but really loves being cuddled or lounging chewing on a bone or rope.

Manners: Teddy has learned his basic commands. He knows to sit, lay down and come when called. Teddy loves to play fetch and will sit nicely while waiting for you to throw a ball. Teddy is nearly potty trained, and sleeps well through the night in his kennel without any messes. He sleeps well in a kennel with very little noise.

Foster Family Observations: Teddy is being fostered with 2 other dogs and loves them. He loves to give kisses and receive affection. Teddy is funny – he will be very excited and trying to get affection. He loves to have his belly rubbed and will fall asleep in a matter of minutes when he’s being pet or having his belly rubbed – and he will snore! It’s quite adorable! This guy just absolutely loves to be love and to love in return. He is very smart so he will need his person/people to dedicate enough time to him so that he does not become bored. He loves to fetch and to listen to commands. When he is being mischievous he is easily distracted with a rope or a bone. Teddy would do well in nearly any family dynamic, but is a bit clumsy so if the family has young children (under the age of 4) he should be supervised just so that he doesn’t knock them over.
