Lucky and Lindy were found hungry and dirty and fending for themselves on the streets. We believe Lindy is a poodle/bichon mix and Lucky is a lhasa apso/shihtzu mix but, as always, it's just a guess. We think they're about 2 yrs old. Lucky weighs 13 lbs and has super-soft hair in shades of cream and tan; Lindy weighs 14 lbs and has cream color hair with a touch of tan on her tail. Both are nonshedding. As you can see from their "before" photos, their hair was very dirty, tangled, and matted when they came into the shelter, but I'm sure they feel so much better now in their new summer cuts :) Lucky and Lindy are extremely sweet and have plenty of kisses for everyone. They get along great with other dogs, and pretty much ignore the cats (unless they run, then it's game on!). They ride well in the car and walk great on a leash. Who could ask for anything more?
Many people contact us looking for a companion for their existing dog. Finding the perfect companion is not always easy: you have to find the right size, the right temperament, sometimes the right gender, and you usually have to take your dog to meet several dogs before finding "the one" (and with the price of gas, who wants to do that?). Please consider adopting them both so they can stay together.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
