My story

Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue, pretty, pretty, pretty, Peggy Sue- What’s not to love?
She is fully-grown at 16lbs and about 1.5 years old. Peggy Sue loves being with her foster Mom and will sit quietly next to her when she is working on the computer or watching TV. Peggy Sue is built like a dachshund but obviously is a mix. She couldn’t be any sweeter. Affectionate, smart and is great with other dogs. She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she was not going to be put on the adoption floor as she was scared and clung to the back of her cage. One of the employees pointed her out to us as she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and she thought she would do better in a different environment. She was right- Peggy Sue is a happy, friendly dog and showed us that as soon as she was out of there. She is now fully vaccinated, heartworm free and on preventative, spayed and micro-chipped.
