Got kids? Other Dogs? Cats? Alex is your man!
Alex is a 1-year-old mixed breed pup who weighs about 55 pounds; he'll probably fill out another 5-10 more in the next year. He is a gorgeous boy with a stunning, blocky head and soulful eyes!
Alex is such a sweet boy, and hasn't met a person or animal he doesn't like yet! He was a favorite of the shelter volunteers, who were thrilled when we came and saved him!
Alex is fostered with three male boxers and two cats and he does great with them all. He is a very social boy around people, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. He is absolutely in love with foster mom's new baby niece, and even at his young age, he knows to be very gentle around the tiny baby!
Alex also loves other dogs, however is a little shy at first then easily warms up. He has excellent manners with other dogs and is what we'd call "dog social." (check out his video to see!) He enjoys playing fetch with his foster brothers, and is learning how to "drop it". his favorite toys are stuffed with squeakers and tennis ball toys (but he tries to pull the fuzz off of them).
Alex is content on walks with his friends, snuggling on a dog bed, or playing in the back yard. Alex is a pretty laid back boy and doesn't really bark unless he is in his kennel (which he would rather not go in). He would do well in an active home that would not have to put him in one too often. Don't forget, he loves kids! It seems like whatever he has been through in the past he still has a wonderful loving spirit that you can see every time you look at his adorable face!
Alex has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. Please email us to request an application for this amazing dog!
