July 2012: Calvin has been ADOPTED & is no longer available. His original bio is below:
Calvin is a 3 year old, 6 lb. Yorkshire Terrier male. He's a very gentle dog who needs a more quiet, all adult home - no children & no grandchildren. Cal is shy when he first meets you & needs an experienced adopter who has either Yorkie or small dog experience. He's a sweet, loving little guy who will be devoted to his new person. His favorite human is a female adult. He follows his foster Mom everywhere & showers her with kisses. He's a little thin & needs to gain 1/2 to 1 lb. to be at a good weight. Calvin is a cuddler & will be in your lap when it's available. He's a real cutie & is not a barker. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home but he's more into people than other dogs. Calvin is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas/ticks, & fully groomed. He'll have a dental done by our vet (under anesthesia) in 2-3 weeks. If you can give Calvin the type of home he needs, click here
Adoption Guidelines to complete our adoption application. Calvin's adoption donation is $400 & includes his lifetime microchip registration. He would do best as either an only dog or with 1 other small dog who is close to his age & size (3-6 yrs old & not bigger than 7 lbs). Thank you for choosing to adopt & save the life of a homeless pet.
