My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A Quiet Gentleman. Andy is a low key, gentle, nuzzling kind of guy. He's sensitive and loving and very attentive. A warm, old soul but yet still very young in years, he immediately warms up to everyone he meets and smiles and wiggles his body hoping you will select him. Pulled from a high kill shelter when his time was up, he was on his back and gently playing and wrestling with his roommate when we spoke up for him. He had no idea what his fate was but we knew we had to act fast to bring that sweet jiggling black and tan love bug to our Sanctuary.

Andy is a terrific smaller framed, irresistible beagle mix. Everyone who meets him loves him. No, really! He is very comfortable around kids, other dogs and folks of all ages and energy levels. Currently rooming with two more active black and tan girls, he can easily hang with them but could be just as happy with a slow moving, more aged pet. Always in the hunt for some one on one attention, Andy has written the book on "The Perfect Pet."
