My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SID - AMERICAN STAFF/WHIPPET X, SPAYED FEMALE APPROX 18 MONTHS OLD, APPROX 45 LBS

Sid is affectionate, obedient, housebroken and loves to follow her people. She loves to sleep on the bed. She is a real 'people' dog. She is dog social but prefers people. With other Bully breeds she needs to be introduced correctly and it helps if the other dog understands that Sid doesn't like dogs right in her face. With a good introduction she's fine. Sid has a high prey drive. She has proven herself to be a great mouser and rodent control. She is awesome at outwaiting mice. She is extremely affectionate and playful with puppies of all sizes.

Good news about Amy aka Sid:Happy news – Amy`s lump was a `hyperplasty-something or other` (basically scar tissue that kept growing under the skin instead of stopping once it had done its work) – not any kind of cancer or anything. We can expect it to heal cleanly and not recur. Yeah! What a relief. The surgery still may end up leaving quite a visible scar, but on a pit bull that’s a medal of honour – proof of what a tough girl she is. Not just another pretty face! She is going to be such a a good companion for someone – even the vet commented on what a nice girl she was, and how much she liked her.
