Volunteer Notes: I almost lost my eyesight. I almost did not make it. But then a miracle happened and I was ushered to safety at CFC. You see, I had been on my own living in a trailer park with 30+ other kitties and due to an untreated viral infection, as the days ticked by my eyes got more and more cloudy and my vision became more and more limited. Luckily, I was found in time and already my eyes are starting to open up to reveal my pale blue eyes. I have started to put on weight and the lady cats are really checking me out!!
Folks will tell you that I am very sweet and easy going. If I spy an open lap, count on me to saunter over and start to nuzzle my way to nap for a spell. I am very friendly and outgoing and am also eager to trot on over and meet folks who come my way. For a guy who grew up without much parental guidance, I think you'll agree that I'm well mannered, well socialized and a real delight to hang out with. I can keep any conversation going and will mesmerize you with my master figure eight moves.
Note: When we originally received Simon we had him on daily eyedrops. His eyes have really cleared up and are opening more and more. His eyes are a moderate pale blue and look 1000x times better!! He gets around like any normal, happy kitty and has nicely fit into the habitat he shares with several other cats. Simon is a low key kind of fellow and will slowly and gently saunter on over to say hi! He is not a pushy fellow at all and has a warm, mellow feeling about him. He is gentle and loving and a real delight to get to know.
You can be the winner of the easiest ever game of Simon Says. Now, here we go. Simon says, “Love me please!” That’s it- game over. Now wasn’t that easy? In truth my friends here say that it is a cinch to love me. When I was trying just to survive in the trailer park I knew nothing about laps, but I’m catching on fast. Place me in yours, scratch my chin, and run a caressing hand down my back; a soft purr will ensue as I lean into you and arch my back with my furry little rump in the air. Your reward will be soft head nudges and the look of contentment on my face. I’m a dapper little fellow with my Siamese attire and my jaunty white boots, but my beauty is more than skin deep. There’s a very sweet and loving guy in here, just waiting to blossom under your tender care.
