My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Rio, and I’m a 20 year old Scarlet Macaw. I’m a very outgoing and loving bird. I have a great personality, a large vocabulary, and I love to sing. My favorite song is Row Row Row Your Boat”. I prefer men, but I am willing to tolerate a woman in the house, as long as my owner and primary caregiver is a man. I enjoy to play/wrestle on the floor, and I especially love cuddling up on the couch and getting scratched on my head and under my wings. I come with my large cage, and a huge play stand that I love to be on when my people are home. I will greet you with a “hello” when you get home, and tell you “buh by” when you leave. If you think that you have room in your life for a beautiful girl like me then call my friends at the Olive Branch Parrot Rescue Inc. or fill out an application!
