My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Sampson and I have a very sad story. Some wonderful people found me shot in the head and tossed by the side and the road and they took me to rescue. I was taken to UT and the doctors fixed me right up,. I was lucky that the bullet didn't penetrate my skull. I don't know what I could have done wrong for my owners to do this to me. I also han't eaten in forever when I was found and my bones were sticking out all over. My foster mom says she can't understand how someone could have done this either because she says I am such a sweet, well behaved dog that there would have been absolutely no reason for me to be treated like that. But life is good!! I'm getting extra food to fatten me up and I live with a bunch of other dogs and a cat. I have a lot of fun and I'm loved for the first time, but I'm almost ready to move on and find my forever family. I know that someone reading this will want me!!
