DeMaio is a young boy (2 years) who was turned in by his owners who could no longer care for him and wanted to be sure he was placed in just the right home. DeMaio (named after a family member) is in most ways the quintessential Labrador. He LOVES people, other dogs, rides in the car and swimming!! He graduated from basic obedience and knows his basic commands. In fact, he even goes to the bathroom on queu! DeMaio loves to be hugged, to fetch a ball and to go for walks. As long as he's with his people, he's a happy camper!! A beautifully bred Lab, Demaio weighs 60 pounds and is in great shape. We are looking for an adult home only with experienced Labrador owners as DeMaio developed some food issues and needs proper guidance through behavior modification. If you are willing to work with him, you are sure to have the companion of your dreams :o).
