My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Silver was in horrible conditions with another dog. The detroit police contacted us and we arrived to find she was the only survivor of the forgotten and severely neglected pair who were purchased for breeding purposes only. They were outside in direct sun without food or water in august, trapped in cages of their own filth. Thankfully silver is a tuff little girl and now has a health cert from our vet. She has been making great progress in her house training but will need a home with someone there alot to take her out alot since with her case, positive reward is the only way to train. She is also very needy of her foster mom. We know this will mean she may be extra needy of her new owners. She also is working on her manners as we believe she's not actually spent time in a home but caged in a basement or backyard her entire life.
10/2/2012 Update: Now that little Silver is feeling better, she is getting nippy and somewhat aggressive with other dogs, so we want her in a home with no small children and no other dogs. This behavior is quite common with terriers when they're not kept properly socialized from a young age.
