This little girl came to us by way of a cat rescue. Yep, you read it right, one of our sister rescues, SARA, contacted us and asked for help finding a loving home for Lilly. As soon as we met this lovely, active, friendly girl, we wanted to help. Lilly has been completely inoculated and spayed and is living in one of our foster homes with two other dogs and two cats. The foster family reports that while she showed up knowing no obedience commands, she has picked up some important commands like sit and come and is really smart. She loves to be around her people and just can’t give enough kisses. Our friendly vet thinks she is about one-and-a-half years old so she is still a baby and loves to play and run around the backyard. Lilly weighs about 40lbs and is somewhat small for what we think is a boxer/pit mix but just look at that face and her floppy ears. Adorable!! She gets along with other dogs, but she can be somewhat dominant, so if she is in a home with other dogs, they should be comfortable with her "Type A" personality. We want to place her in a home where she can continue to work on her obedience commands. We think Lilly will be a wonderful, loyal, and loving pet for that special home.
