UPDATED BIO 09/12/2012: Barkley is an adorable 6 year old yorkie-poo who weighs 9.5 lbs; he is now being fostered in Mount Pleasant, SC. His foster dad and mom said that he is doing just great and already playing with his foster sister, Annie, who only weighs 3.5 lbs. Barkley has somewhat of a submissive personality and is a funny and happy guy. He loves attention - he thinks he is so cute that he deserves a lot of it. Barkley is doing well on his house-training and will alert his foster parents when he needs to go out. Barkley could be the only dog or can go into a home with other dogs close to his size and age to play with. Barkley bonds quickly with his person, and will bond quickly to his forever parents - could that be you?
UPDATED BIO 08/29/2012: Barkley is an adorable 6 year old yorkie-poo who weighs 9.5 lbs; he is now being fostered in Mount Pleasant, SC. Foster Dad said that Barkley fit quickly fit in with his primary pack here. He has basically a submissive personality and is calming down quickly now that he has been altered. Barkley is a funny, happy dog that relishes every bit of attention he can get. He will let his 'person' know when he wants to play and needs attention. He can be vocal but he is not a high strung, worried or yappy little guy. Barkley is mostly house-trained and you can tell which bark means Barkley needs to go out. He is very attached to his crate and it is his home and safe place where he prefers to nap. Barkley is very adaptable and will quickly bond to his forever parent.
