BUFFY (young 1.5yrs/S) and her litter were rescued together. Her pups were adopted and she's prepared to be her own dog now. Her tail curls in a corkscrew so she may have some Boston in her. Buffy is reserved in unfamiliar surroundings but loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and doesn't even mind the cat. She is great with gentle children and is very affectionate. "ADOPTABLE SAT, DEC. 01, ADOPTION EVENT, BROOMFIELD PETCO!!"
What are the advantages of adopting a Special older puppy? First, they are rescued and are young enough to start a new life with a new family. They were given up by previous owners but still want to love and trust humans. They are crate and house trained. Already spayed/neutered. And they have so much devotion and joy to give. Not every family wants a puppy to successfully adopt a new family member and MuttSavers has the perfect Special Mutt for them!

Each week MuttSavers rescues pups and young dogs from shelters that are forced to put animals to sleep every day because of limited space and resources.
