My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gunner is a Maltese/Yorkie about 1 ½ years of age. This little guy was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles without a microchip or any form of identification. The person who found him tried to locate an owner without success. When that person could not keep him, he was brought to a person in the San Diego area. This lady could not care for him so she requested assistance from AMA Rescue. AMA Rescue paid for his needed medical care. Gunner was recently neutered, his shots are current, his ear infection was treated, and he now has a microchip.
Are you looking for a small, 6 ½ lbs, loving, mild mannered sweetheart? Gunner likes everyone, especially men. Gunner’s favorite thing is to sit on your lap or take a short nap next to you. He enjoys going walks and riding in cars. This little guy is an extremely calm, mild mannered little dog who would make an excellent companion especially for a person who is home with him most of the time. All Gunner needs now is a forever family to share his love.
