I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Barney's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Barney's Story...
Animal Control on the day I was supposed to go to sleep, whatever that means. Luckily, a nice family offered to foster me and I love being in my new home. My family says I am so laid back and sweet, and I love to play and can catch quite well! I am housebroken and know commands already, aren't I so smart? I get along great with my foster family's dog, but am still working with their cat! I would make a great addition to any family looking for a gentle giant like me. :)

Our adoption fee is $200. Includes spay/neuter, microchip and up-to-date on vaccines. All monies go toward rescuing more animals from high-kill shelters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Raleigh Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Raleigh, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Raleigh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raleigh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raleigh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raleigh paves the way for another one to be saved.
