Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FINLEY! This guy sure is sweet (and handsome!). He has a bit of a wrinkly face and an almost american bulldog nose which makes us think he is pittie and am bulldogX. Finley is around 2 years old and weighs 60 pounds. He has a beautiful glossy red coat and a athletically lean body. We just recently cat tested Finley and he passed with flying colors!
Once again, he is another of our AC saves. Finley was going to be put to sleep as a puppy because of his exuberant personality. Thankfully, he has really mellowed out!
Finley is a favorite at the rescue ranch! We love his upbeat personality and how much he loves to please everyone. He can also be quite the character; it was so funny watching him learn how to swim in the pond at the ranch. It took Finley quite awhile to learn that it's easier to swim horizontally rather than vertically, it was almost like he had weights attached to his rump. We have taken Finley on some socialization walks with numerous other dogs and he behaved beautifully! He was always at his foster mom's side and eagerly awaited her next command. Finley is very bright and picks up training easily. He quickly learned to sit to get what he wants (pets, dinner, treats,).
Here is what his foster mom has to say about him: "Finley is such a great boy! He loves to follow me around and is always happy to receive extra loves. He LOVES to swim and enjoys being able to play with his doggy friends. Finley is incredibly smart and will do really well in an obedience class".
Finley will do great in almost any household. He does have a medium to high energy level and would be best suited with an active owner. We think he'd really love to go hiking (especially if there is water to swim in). He'd also make a fantastic running or biking partner! Poor Finley has been passed up A LOT, we have been told he's too 'plain' looking for most people. We are hoping that someone out there will find him as beautiful as we do!
