Do you have room in your heart and home for a new best fur friend to love and share your life with? I am Winston, aka Sir Winston, a wonderful BEAGLE mix. They think I am about seven years old (as of 7/2012), which really is not that old.... the good thing is that I don't chew slippers or do 'puppy stuff' so you will have an instant loving companion that you won't have to train or house break.
I have been waiting for you my whole life .......my new family, who will love me and care for me.... FOREVER AND EVER. The loving Humane Society people found and rescued me... I had been abandoned out in the country. I searched and searched for help, going to houses and farms to find someone who would feed me, let me sleep where I would be safe and care for me. I even stood by the road but the cars never stopped. People told the humane society lady that they had seen me but that they chased me off...they didn't want to bother with me. That has to be the worst feeling in the world - to be ALL ALONE, HUNGRY AND THEN CHASED OFF.
I am staying in a foster home right now and, boy, is it ever nice to have a family with a Mom and Dad! They say I am a very low key, sweet, calm and gentle little guy. My foster Mom says she has never even heard me bark.... I really just love to lay back, watch everyone and take my naps. They say I am such a good boy.... I sleep all night in my crate and I am housebroken. I have never had one accident since I came here, which they say, will be very impressive to my future forever family. I walk very nicely on a leash (I never pull) and I enjoy rides in the car. I have such lovely manners in the house....I never jump on people and I don't jump on the furniture. I really love to be by people. I will lay by your feet, move when you move and follow you all over the house....I will be your 'shadow.' My foster family has two other dogs, who are very nice to me. However, I am not really interested in them ....I'm very content taking nice walks and spending most of my day sweetly sleeping close by someone who I know loves me.
Every day gets better and better. They say the very BEST day will be when you come to take me home...... and I will never leave your side...I will love you forever. I will be the happiest, most content boy in the entire world...please hurry, I have waited so long for you! FOREVER AND EVER!!!
