My story

Hi, my name is Josie and I am possibly the SWEETEST little girl you will ever want to meet! The Humane Society saved me from a very bad situation and I am so glad. I was so sick and sad and afraid. I had lost alot of my hair when I was sick, but now it is growing back and I am feeling so much better! They think I might be part SHEPHERD - my fur is tan / brown with a black strip down my back. I was born approximately 11/2009 and am not a very big girl. Actually, I had lost quite a bit of weight when I was sick and have gained some back, but, I don't think I will ever be a big, husky girl. I am also HOUSETRAINED, which is apparently a good thing! I lived in the office here at the kennel while I was recuperating. I felt really special with the wonderful ladies spoiling me and I quickly won them over with my SWEETNESS! But, alas, once I was all healthy I had to be moved outside to make room for other sick dogs inside, and I am not very happy about that.I don't understand why I can't be inside with people and can't wait to go to my forever home. I will be the perfect girl.... just you wait and see. I have a second chance at life and I am so grateful! And when YOU come to get your SWEET girl and take me inside your home and heart, my life will be perfect!
