UPDATED BIO 12/19/2012: Hi fans! It’s me Lola! I'm approximately 5 years old and I weigh 8lb. I’ve been doing great at FM’s home. I love to hangout around the house with my foster furbrothers during the day. We sit by the window & look outside, we play together & even take naps at the same time. I’m a good little girl & have great potty manners. Although I’m crate trained, FM gives me full range of the house since I’m so well behaved. I love to go out for walks & say hello to all my doggy neighbors. I'm also smart too, I'll make sure I let FM know when I really gotta potty or if I'm hungry. I'm hungry often but FM says I need to follow my schedule so I can be healthy. I like to give FM kisses & I also give my furbrother kisses too. Who can resist my kisses? I’m having a lot of fun & can’t wait until my skin gets better so I can have my spay. I still have a long way to go but I'm sure when I'm ready the perfect family will come a long for me. (Remember, I'm little & I enjoy a calm home, so no kids under 10yrs old for me.) Lots of love & kisses, Lola
UPDATED BIO 11/28/2012: It's been a little over week since Lola came into our home and I must admit, that it's been a rough week for her. Lola's kennel cough got pretty bad but thankfully we had already started treatment so we kept her comfortable and hydrated. She's now back to her happy playful self; she's eating, drinking and taking in all of the attention she gets. She will need to continue taking her medication for a little longer and we will begin giving her medicated baths to help with her skin condition. Now that we have gotten to know Miss Lola a bit we have learned that she is potty trained (yay!), crate trained, loves food, treats and playing. Although we still have to keep her separated from her foster brothers for a bit longer, she is eager to get to know them. She even likes the neighbors cat & she's got foster daddy wrapped around her little paws. It's hard to resist sweet little Lola. Please keep Lola in your prayers as she continues recovering.
INITIAL BIO: Hi Dolls! My name is Lola & I'm Yorkie. I'm approximately 5 years old and weigh 7 - 8lb. I was cruising around town when I was picked up by & taken to a high kill shelter. That's when UYR stepped up & took me out of there. I'm now safe at home with my new foster mommy & daddy in Miami, FL. FM says I got 2 furbrothers to meet but she wants me to go to the dogtor first. You see, I've got some itchy stuff all over my body & I've got a little bit of a cold. Momma says I look a bit chubby too. So she wants to make sure I'm healthy before I begin to start playing with my new furbrothers. Overall, I'm very happy to have a nice warm bed & an FM that pets me as much as I want. I love to be pet! Alright fans, FM says its time for my beauty sleep, so I have to get going.
