Medical Hold until the first of February when she will have a spay and dental cleaning.
Cheri is a happy, sweet and easy going 6 year-old fawn pug. She has the softest pug coat ever! She came to the rescue in late December from a MO breeder mill. She has a clean bill of health and will be getting spayed and have a dental cleaning in early February.
Cheri has diminished eyesight, but she navigates around really well! We believe she can see shadows and has a good sense of hearing to aid her in finding her way around. She will cower when attempting to pick her up. Cheri likes to be near her human and will follow you around just to be near you. She mostly just wants to sit by you and be loved. She gets along well with her two pug foster sisters. She likes to play with them during the day and cuddle with them in her kennel at night. They all have their own kennel, but prefer cuddling in one kennel all together!
Cheri requires eyedrops/artificial tears on a daily basis. She is working on mastering the stairs and is making great progress daily. She is doing very well with potty training and seems to understand the concept of going potty outside, considering she spent her life in a crate. She gets so excited when she gets attention, praise and TREATS!!
Cheri needs a caring home to support her in growth into becoming a happy pug pet. She is one of the sweetest pugs I ever met.
