Boseman is a 7 year old Lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix whose family is moving overseas and is not able to take him with them. They called Fuzzy Pawz Rescue to help him find the perfect family to call his own.
At 105 pounds Boseman’s size can be intimidating but he is just a big softy. He carries around his stuffed animals "his babies" everywhere and always meets you at the door with them with a wagging tail. He really only barks when someone new comes to the house but if they know his name and act like they know him he's good and goes and gets his "baby" for them. Boseman has always lived with kids and his only issues with people are whether or not they will look at his “baby” when he brings it to show them.
Boseman lives with 3 cats currently and gets along great with them. He likes other dogs but has not had much chance to interact with them so he tends to great them with a lot of excitement which can irritate other dogs.
He has gone hunting often and loves that; gunshots don't scare him and he will kick up birds but REFUSES to carry them back in his mouth. So a retriever he isn’t but he is a good hunting companion.
Don’t let his size fool you Boseman is a house dog and will only stay outside when it's a nice day but does not sleep outside. He loves to snuggle on the couch with lots of pillows and take a nap and has always slept with the daughter in his home. However Boseman is really smart and will quickly learn if you do not want him on the furniture.
Boseman is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated.
