AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Meet Dewey a 4 year old owner surrender. Dewey is a handsome fellow who loves, loves. loves his toys. He recently had been plagued with an eye ulcer but is well on the way to healing. He also has had an issue with a chronic tail infection, his tail was recently amputated and healing nicely. As soon as he has recovered from the tail surgery, he will need to be evaluated by an Orthopedic surgeon to assess his knee. He occasionally limps. He is neutered and UTD on shots. Dewey will not be ready for adoption until after the tail has completely healed and his knee has been evaluated.
