GENDER: Female and Male
AGE: Both are about 9 years old
WEIGHT: Mia is 3.5 lbs and Harley is 5 lbs
DOGS/CATS: Great with small dogs, Unsure with cats

Hi, everybody! We are Mia and Harley, 9-year old Chihuahua siblings. We have been together our entire lives and therefore must be adopted together. Our foster mom says that we are so easy...we even bathe each other every night before bed. We are fully housebroken and sleep in our crates at night. Sometimes we like to sleep together in one crate and sometimes we sleep in separate crates.

Mia says: I am a dainty little 3.5 pound princess as you can see by my pink collar with the jeweled crown and “Mia” on it. I like to snuggle under the blankets with whoever is sitting on the couch. I know that technically, your lap is not mine, however as a princess, I’m just assuming my rightful place on the throne. I don’t want to sleep in bed with you at night though, I’m too tiny and being on the bed makes me nervous…you know, the whole “The Princess and the Pea” thing. I have a bunch of toys to play with, but I like to pounce on your hand more than toys. I also like to spend a little bit of time out in the sunshine every day.

Harley says: While I may not be quite as “dainty” as my sister, I am still rather small at 5 lean pounds. I like to snuggle even more than Mia and I love to be held. My second favorite thing to do is play with toys! I love toys—especially the fuzzy, squeaky ones. I want to play with a person every day—it makes me really happy and I bounce all over—sort of like Tigger says my foster mom. I like to be outside with the other dogs and will chase a squirrel if it looks at me funny.

The foster mom says: Mia and Harley are fantastic little dogs! They get along great with my own dogs and like people too. They know basic commands and listen well. They usually sleep through the night in their crates. They will bark to let you know if they need to go out at night…then they go right back to their kennels and sleep. Mia is spayed. Harley is not yet neutered and he has not marked anything in the house in the two months I’ve had them so far. These are two wonderful dogs that would do well in a less-active household. Due to their tiny sizes, they cannot be adopted to a family with children under 12.

Hi! This is Mia again. Will you please consider me and Harley for your family? We are a little older (don’t tell him I said that, he thinks he’s 4) yet still have many good years left. We would love to have a forever home to spend them with our very own family. XOXO Mia and Harley

Harley is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. Mia is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. They are ready to join a loving family - could you be their perfect home?
