My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi nice to meet you. My name is Garey. I'm named after the street I was found on, waaaay high up in a scary tree with no way down! Luckily a kind person walking her dog decided to take things into her own hands, and climbed up into the tree to save me! I was so happy to be in the arms of someone, that I kept purring and would not stop all the way to my foster home!

I was greeted at the door by my temporary mother- a 75lb doggy that was rescued himself! He took me under his wing and gave me a good clean-up (His tounge wasn't as rough as my real mom's, and MUCH bigger!) He also introduced me to my foster sisters, and we all get along great!

Now, I'm in a temporary foster home awaiting a forever home and a kind family who has space for a spunky, cuddly kitten who is litter-trained and already neutered! My new home is going to have to be extra special to make up for the rough time I spent alone and scared on the streets. Do you have room for little old me? If so, send my foster mommy an email and help save a life! :)

Thanks for your interest in little Garey. He has been doing wonderful in his foster home, but would really flourish in a home of his very own with a family to love and grow up with. Garey is around 4 months old, and has been teaching the older cats in the house how to play again! His favorite spot to snuggle is a warm lap and he is content to relax and watch tv.
