I am too cute for words! Hi Guys! My name is Howie. I am located in a foster home in LaFayette, AL. The rescue adopts to out of state homes.You cna email for more info on out of area adoptions. I am tiny guy with a loving heart. I would love to give you kisses and sleep in your big bed… under the covers of course.. you know I am a Chihuahua! I promise to be a very good boy. You see I was loved and spoiled by my "Daddy" but we were forced to part ways when he was placed in a nursing home. It was scary. I have never been without him. I am looking for a life long home. Well they were going to put me to sleep because they say there are more homeless pets than homes. That is why more people need to adopt and not support those mean breeders, puppymills and pet stores. Oh, but how happy I was that these great people came and saved my life. They know all about us Chihuahuas and understand us! My "Dad" only used to feed us people food. But I am a good boy and eat dog food for the rescue folks. I promise to be the most loyal dog you have ever owned. I am a good boy and have good house manners. You see I do not mark or go potty in the house. I am small and need to be taken outside often. I am 1 year old. I am good with dogs, and cats. I MUST go to a home that understand chis. I have to settle in at new places. I am a sweet love bug once I know you. For this reason I am not good with kids that are going to try to pet or pick me up right away. I wag my tail all day as I am such a happy little guy. I can be a shy when meeting new people. I love to play and also sit in your lap! I am also crate trained but I don’t like to be locked up- I want to be with you. I have a HUGE apple head :--) There is no reason to crate me, as I do not get into trouble.
