My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rock and I am a beautiful one year old lab mix boy. I was left by my previous owners in a high kill shelter in NC. I had an injury to my tail as a young puppy, so it is just a tiny bit shorter than it should be. Personally, I think this makes me extra special!!! I am hoping to find a family that likes to snuggle as much as I do. I get along great with other dogs, but not so fond of the Alpha temperament. They make me uncomfortable and I may bark at them. Speaking of bark, I also like to sing a little howl now and then. My foster family thinks I will do best in a home without cats as I may play too rough with them. I am also a big boy that may knock over a very young child, so older children would be best. I really enjoy a nice walk on leash and hope my new family will like it as well.
