Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PIPPI is a darling young ( 10 months to 1 yr old ) mix - a small loving Velcro dog,
good with cats and dogs large dogs scare her until she knows they wont hurt her , she adjusted to my 140 lb dog in about 45 mins.
She loves attention , love & affection , is child safe , and great in the home, she LOVES to sleep with you - and be with you , so if you want a loving compainon that doesnt require crating , or worry - this is that gal.
she likes her toys and a den area for herself IF she lives in a "chaotic type home" she PREFERS a CALM laid back easy going home., she has no aggression we can find - including NO FOOD AGGRESSION.
she is the sweetest SMALL dog we have had in ages.
a bit submissive - but very loving always.
would prefer a retired owner or a stay at home mom & kids, ( 5 and above please)
a calm & stable home is best and is what we are seeking.
would prefer children over age 5 as the youngest she was tested with was age 4 .
she is good with kids but seems to prefer older people - I think she was raised with older people as she is so calm & laid back. she would be grandchild safe , but be a great compnion for an older family or couple.
she likes to play a bit ( not too much and not GO GO GO !! - but is a VERY laid back dog especially for the breeds we are guesstimating, AND for her age - her teeth are pristine & look very new.
She is willing to follow you about , lay in her favorite chair with her toys and watch TV with you. she is NOT a hyper drive dog. she is a comfort dog , and loves to be laying down & hanging out with her people.
she is VERY small - probably about 10 lbs. she is longer than tall.
she is a white with brindle markings.
the pictures do not show her true size - she is a LOT smaller than she looks in the pictures as there is nothing to compare her to in the photos.
this is a really gentle , calm sweet dog, the only bad habit I have found was she likes to beg - ( people food) she is not obnoxious about it and obeys when you tell her NO, but she has a liking for human food , for sure .
we assume she was fed human food not dog food but are breaking her of that habit.
if someone knocks she will back, but is not excessively yappy.
I did not crate her at all when she was here , and she had no accidents ( but do let the dogs out every few hours as a routine)
within 10 hours she bonded to me as if I was her owner all her life.
she loves people , is not a fan of being picked up- it makes her nervous & feel "unsafe"
but loves to lay next to you or on your lap.
she slept with me on my pillow and was very well behaved .
she knows "SIT"
and she knows "come"
but due to the breed combo we are guestimating, unless you live in a condo , apartment , or you are willing to walk her for potty often enough a fenced yard will be required. better safe than sorry .
this gal deserves the best home we can find her .
