A dreamgirl in our eyes, that's Amber. Given up by her family and finding herself in a shelter, Amber has now landed on all four with Rawhide. We can't say enough about this sweet girl; she loves people (prefering the company of adults as she likes a more serene environment), great around dogs, easy on the leash, a wonderful companion. We don't think she'll last so if you're looking for a 4-year old Golden/Lab-girl, you'd better hurry. She came in onSeptember 8, was already spayed and has now been inoculated and is ready to find a home. On her second day as a Rawhide dog, she was introduced to 19 of her Rawhide companions when she was allowed to "run with the dogs". At first, she was wide-eyed and ill-at-ease, not quite sure how to fit in. She made sure to stay close to her humans, just in case. Soon, she was running with the pack. She's a follower, not a leader and will fit into an environment with or without other dogs. If you have a pack of canines or just a pair of adult humans, you would want to meet Amber.
Amber is photogenic and was so easy to take good pictures of (probably because she doesn't jump around all over the place).
