My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster mom and everyone I meet tell me that I am a sweet little girl. She rescued me from an Amish puppymill earlier this year. I am not sure what "puppymill" means, but I remember living in a small cage and not getting enough food or attention for a really, really long time. I had a lot of babies too. It made me sad because they took my babies away from me and I never saw them again. They were too young to leave me. The last litter of babies I had was at my foster mom's house. It was great. I had all the food I could eat, lots of love and she helped me take care of those 7 crazy little kids. I even got to keep them with me until they were 10 weeks old! That was neat because my foster mom has a back yard where I could play with my babies every day. I never got to do that before. They were a lot of fun. Now foster mom says it is my turn to find a forever home.

I like to play a lot and take walks, but my mom has another Jack Russell and she is WAY more energetic that I am. My foster mom tells me that I am not as energetic as your average Jack Russell. I do like to run, but just dont see the need of doing it for hours or hours like those other Jacks. I would MUCH rather be chewing on a bone or sitting in someone's lap being loved on. I really like to play with the other dogs. I didnt really know how to do that when I first came to live with my foster home, but her nice dogs have helped me with that. It is neat to be able to play whenever I want. I am happiest though when being held or cuddled! That will never get old with me! My foster mom picks me up and cuddles me and I just melt in her arms. It feels really, really nice and safe.

I love all kids, other dogs, and all of the people I meet. They are all so nice and tell me how cute I am. Who wouldn't love to hear that!? My foster mom says I have some seriously sweet eyes that would melt anyone's heart. Whatever that means! I just know that everyone I meet loves to pick me up and I think that is great! I never had that before.

My foster mom says she loves me a whole bunch and would love to keep me forever, but thinks I deserve to have a home of my own that will spoil me rotten. She already spoils me a whole bunch, but has a lot of other dogs to spoil. I understand. She saved me and my babies. She wants what is best for me and if she thinks you are a good family for me, then I will love you forever!
