My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, hi! I'm Sasha. I'm a mastiff!! Let me tell you a bit about myself since we don't really know each other. hmmmm...I guess the most important thing you should know is that I LOVE love love treats! I get so excited, I just can't stop my whole body from wiggling! I do that when my foster mom comes home, too. I'm just sooooo happy!!

I like other people if we're properly introduced. I'm sure you understand--no one likes strangers to just love all over you before meeting them!

Mom says I'm perfect in the house--I just make myself comfy on the couch and watch some daytime drama, you know? OK, once, just once, I had a bad day. Didn't my mom catch me with the camera. It was just that one time, I swear!

I'm very good with other dogs, large and small, male or female. I lived with a big great dane for several months and we got along very well. I'm fine with cats too--my philosophy is generally live and let live, you know?

My family left me to move to another state--I'd been with them my whole life and they just left me. It made me very sad, and the shelter scared me, it was so noisy and crowded. Once in my new foster home, I settled down in a few days. Mom says I bond closely with my family and I'm a fierce protector, but I love visitors who bring me treats and who sit for introductions.

Mom is so sad because people keep overlooking me. She sometimes gets so frustrated with people--but I know just what to do to comfort her, I go right up to her with my butt wiggling and my eyes all soft, and I just press my little face against her and give her a hug with my front paws. She can't help but love me right back and that makes her smile! Wouldn't you love to have a reason to smile every day, all day? If I come home with you, I promise that you will!

If you have questions about our adoption policies and procedures, please go to our website at www.peacefulpawsrescue.org. Our adoption application is on our website as well. We are not a shelter and do not have a facility. You will not be able to meet any of our foster dogs until you've completed an application.
