My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fergus needs a new home ASAP! Here is his story, told by his present owner:

Here is a Picture of Fergus, he is a five year old male kitty. He is somewhat good with smaller children (he'll swat my 3 year old when he has had enough), and some small dogs. Other cats might take awhile for him to get used to...he's never really been around any. He has been an inside cat his whole life. I was told that Fergus has irritable bowel syndrome. This can make him have bloody stools, and diarrhea. He can take medicine for it...I have yet to find one that works. He also tends to have cleanliness issues when he is not feeling well.

I really need to find fergus a new home ASAP. I have recently been released from the hospital (preeclampsia) with my new baby after a 3 month stay. During that time, my father took in Fergus. They cannot keep him any longer. I cannot make him an outside cat as I live on Beverly st, and being an inside cat his whole life...I think he will get hit by a car. I have looked everywhere for someone to take him with no luck. I cannot keep him any longer. My 3 year old has a slight allergy to him...that we have somewhat overlooked, but the new baby was a premature baby, and we were told to avoid cats. That with the cleanliness issues and two small children...it's become to much. I am out of time. and my last resort is you...and then the SPCA. I fear he will either stay at the SPCA for ever due to his condition or be put down if room is needed, I will need to turn him in within a day or two.

Thank you for whatever help you can give me. I would obviously prefer to find him a caring home, I do believe he could make an excellent outside cat, in a safer area.
