Adorable, apricot -colored, non-shedding but in need of a good grooming, this is sweet Fifi. She came in with her brother, Fufu, and we would love to see these two be adopted into the same home. They are very close and it would be a shame to separate them. Their family loves this lovely pair but due to personal circumstances are unable to keep them. They will be 2 in January 2008, weigh in under 10 pounds, and are up-to-date on all vaccines. What remains is spaying and neutering which will happen shortly.
They are not good with strangers at first but warmed up to the Rawhide volunteer very quickly and have since then greeted me with wagging tails and happy faces. We also found out that they are excellent around other small dogs as we introduced them to Sue's and Nick's happy threesome. All five played happily in the yard without any type of confrontation.
We were told that these two munchkins are not fully housebroken so their new owners will need to be willing to work on that. They seem very willing to do their business outside and a secure fenced-in yard would be a plus for training them. They are great on the leash and would be wonderful companions for a short spin around the block.
