My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skeeter was found hanging upside down on a fence after he and his mother were thrown from a car. Yes ? thrown from a car! Several vets told the woman who found them to put Skeeter down. But this kind lady did not have the heart to do it. She called our rescue for help. Skeeter was only a few months old at the time. After a lengthy period of time and a lot of therapy, Skeeter is doing fine. He is now almost three years old. His ordeal has left him with a ?bum? leg. It had been broken in several places. But this has not slowed him down!

Skeeter?s mother has been adopted into a good home and now it?s Skeeter?s turn to find a good home.

Skeeter is an Aussie/Lab mix. He is neutered and his vaccinations are current.

He will need patience and a very loving family.

He can be a little dog aggressive, especially with males.

He loves people and would do best in a family with older kids.

Can you, or someone you know find that nice home he so deserves. Unfortunately he has had a very traumatic start to his life. But a kind and loving family can certainly make the rest of his life a happy one.
