Princess's Story...
This little cutie is Princess. She is a 4 year old Yorkie, and just as cute as can be! Due to financial difficulties, her owners have to relocate and can't take Princess with them.

She is house trained as long as someone is home watching her, otherwise she will use pee pads when someone is not. Her way to let you know she has to go out is that she will lick your hand once and turn away.

Princess is extremely active and loves to chase her Kong ball. She does well with large dogs and cats. Although she is not aggressive, she will try to play with cats which most cats don't always like. She is not a big barker, but loves to have fun.Could you be the forever family this sweet girl is looking for?
Princess is microchipped, spayed and up to date on her shots and vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueAhart.org if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Cincinnati Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
