My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone. Meet Hope. Hope's human passed away. The family was able to place her siblings, but poor Hope hasn't found her second forever family yet. A family member is taking care of her as best she can, but its not a good mix with her own dogs. Hope is not happy there at all. SDHH is trying to help find a happier home for sweet Hope. Here is what her current caretaker has to say about adorable little Hope:

She is a very, very sweet little girl. She was my sister-in-law's spoiled child. She loves to be held and has lots of kisses to share. That's her problem, she barks to get what she wants and for attention. She was never crated and does do her business on the wee-wee pads. Sometimes her aim has a little bit to be desired! The issue here is with two of my dogs, a puppy, and an adult who is nuts and plays rough. Hope gets quite upset and then it gets ugly. She does not like the rough play, so I don't think she would do well with a pup or a very active dog. So, for her own safety, she has to be crated. Having never been crated, she hates it. She has no problem with our other 3, more mellow dogs. I honestly can't tell you how she is with cats. However, she is 11, my daughter is 13, and she has always been great with her. I wouldn't recommend she be with young children.

Hope is on the generic version of Vasotec for her kidneys. She eats well, goes regularly, and is a very spry old lady. She's given me a run for the money when she makes a break for it! I'm looking for a home for her. This isn't the way she should be living.
