Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Smudge is a darling boy who wants to play with everybody. Because he is very easy going , he gets picked on by more dominant yardmates. He is deaf and so needs to be touched or signaled to get his attention although his focus is usually on a human. He is leash and crate trained, sits on command (visual) and comes to signal. He is very sweet but jumps up too often as submissive behavior. (licking a human face is submissive). He is very energetic and needs a large fenced yard and lots of exercise. He is 95% housebroken and just needs to learn how to let you know his needs. He would make a great pet for the right patient and loving family. He is heartworm negative.
Although Smudge is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.
