My story

Roman is a 8 year old pittie/hound mix. Roman is a very smart boy and is eager to please. He is an active boy and loves going on walks, runs, and hikes. He even likes to swim! Roman must be the only dog. He is ok with kids but would prefer older kids because of his happy, playful energy. Roman's $75 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.

Additional adoption info

Adoption process requires an application to be submitted first. Upon approval of the application, a meet and greet will be set up as well as a home check. If all is approved, then the interested adopter will go through our two week foster to adopt program. During the two weeks the interested party will be supplied with a crate, food, leash, toys, etc. During the two weeks, the adopter will decide if the dog is a fit and then the adoption will be finalized.

Adoption fees are $75-$250.

More about this rescue

Pittie Me Rescue is a small 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer based dog rescue. We strive to educate the public on the misunderstood stigma placed on pit bull type dogs due to negative press and social stigmatism. We continually stress the importance of spaying and neutering, helping to control the population of unwanted dogs and the health benefits it provides. Additionally we advocate for responsible ownership of these beautiful, smart, athletic but highly misrepresented dogs.
