My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spike, the sweetest and most handsome purebred male Weimaraner around. This beautiful Weimaraner is such a good boy with a wonderful heart and calm easy disposition. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting him, please email WeimLuvvr@aol.com. He is 5years old and has a lovely temperament. At about 80 lbs, He should lose a little weight, which he has been slowly doing. He is a gentle boy, who is beautifully bred, and the perfect specimen of a handsome purebred male Weimaraner. Spike is a true lover. He really loves his people and is such a good boy in the house. He is obedient and trained and knows some of his commands. All he wants to do it please his person and he loves to be close and by your side, and he is a funny boy, too, he loves to play games! He is wonderful in the car, in the house, at dog park, and really just anywhere you want to take him. He loves to go on errands with his person or is just as happy to stay home with his doggie pals. Spike is fitting in beautifully in his foster home where he gets along wonderfully with all the other dogs he is fostered with including other Weims. He is getting along great with the family cat, too, so he is a good choice for a family with a cat. Spike is good with children, too. Spike is a medium energy calm dog. He will need and will enjoy his good daily exercise and then he will settle perfectly in the house. He has lovely house manners and is housebroken. Although Spike a mellow guy, he also has lots of spunk if you feel like a hike too. He will go with the flow. If you are in the mood for a hike or jog he's right there with you. Or if it's a rainy day and you want to curl up under the blankets, Spike will be by your side. He is the perfect mix of easy and fun and blends right in. Spike is a very healthy happy boy who just wants to be a best friend. You really couldn't do better than to have the love of this fellow. And in return, Spike will give you such loyalty and love. Spike is a very healthy sound boy who has been neutered and microchipped and he is up to date on vaccines. He will do fine as an only dog as long as he gets lots of human attention, or he would be good in a home with another dog. Most Weims are real companion dogs and don't love life left alone all day. They can get lonely and bored and are happiest with companionship. He will do best with a family who will take him out for a nice walk each day and maybe some weekend outings. And he is so well behaved he can even accompany you to work if your employer permits dogs. If you would like to meet Spike, please send an email to weimluvvr@aol.com so that we can get you an application.
