My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reeses Roamers does not normally deal with big dogs but we have made an exception to try and give these two a chance. Cash and Penny wandered up one day onto the doorstep of a cat rescue of all places! And then they didn't leave. The kitty lady has agreed to foster them until they can find a home because she says they are "so sweet", but she does not have much room that isn't taken over by cats. The dogs are being kept in a large pen on the side of her yard but that is no place like a real home would be. We believe they are siblings or mother/son but can't know for sure if and how they are related. They are very bonded though and love each other very much so probably would not be happy being separated. They also love to go for walks together and walk well on a leash. This pair has seen the cats and had other dogs bark at them through the fence and they have been non-responsive. However, we do not know their background and they have not been evaluated around other animals so we recommend they be adopted into a home that will just have them or someone who is very knowledgeable about dogs. The adoption fee for both Cash and Penny is $200 which is only reimbursement to the cat rescuer for spay/neuter and shots. Cash and Penny will be microchipped prior to adoption. If you would like to come meet these two kids and have a big heart for two boxer/pits who wouldn't stand a chance in a shelter, email or call for a visit.
