My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus, a Hurrican Sandy victim who lost his family, when his family lost everything they had, even their dog. Gus is a sweet guy who loves to play with other dogs, love, love, loves human contact, and so enjoys long walks on his lead! He loves to run in the yard and fetch a ball, and lay in the sunshine gnawing on a bone (which he SO LOVES) or just taking in the sun resting. He knows basic training and commands, and even knows how to roll over! :) Gus's favorite place to be is on the couch, either with or without you. If with you, and you want him off, then you'll have to offer him a treat rather than try to take him off as he's not fond of being told to get off his "favorite spot," in the house. Gus really enjoys a comfy bed, and that's a must for this boy who so deserves to enjoy the comforts that we're so sure he had in his previous home. He has been moved around a lot since his family had to give him up and we would love nothing more than to find him a stable forever home where he'll be loved until the end.

Gus is 6 years young, is neutered, UTD on all shots and is microchipped.
