Before we can tell you who Jean is now, we will tell you who she was when we first met her….

“Jean was rescued from a high volume shelter by New Moon on 2 June 2013. Her age/birth date is not known as she originally came to the shelter as a stray rabbit.

Shortly after her arrival at the shelter, Jean gave birth to a litter of 6 babies. Sadly, due to the stress of being in the shelter her entire litter passed away before Jean and her new family could be transporter to New Moon. She was understandably; very sad and stressed when she first arrived but has been warming up to the love attention she is now receiving. Jean is very a friendly and sweet bunny. She is hoping to find a loving home soon.”

Who is Jean now? She is a sweet, loving bunny with so much love to give!! She has come such a long way during her time with us. She has become a gentle but confident lady. She loves attention, she loves to play and she just wants to be loved. It has been a long road for her and she has been with a couple of amazing foster homes during her stay with us. They showed her love, patience and understanding and gave her reason to be happy again. However, she is now very ready and eager to have a real family of her very own.

Jean is litter trained and loves her hay. She likes to explore and would most likely do well with a bonded friend.
