Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have Sully who is about 3 years old. He is a real gentle sweetie. His only bad habit is that he loves toys!! ....especially the stuffed ones!! He just can't stand that darn squeaky thing in them!! He just HAS to kill that thing!! They you must do "woobie surgery" to get that thing out!!...Needless to say his Foster Mom is constantly picking up polyester stuffing all over her house and yard due to this obsession of Sully's to REMOVE that squeaky thing!!
Sully was in the rescue previously but due to no fault of his or his adopters he had to come back. The twins wrote this letter to let folks know what a great dog he is....they twins, Gregory and Austin wanted his new owners to know somethings about this great boy...so I am copying their letter. Also Austin is a budding photographer and has taken these pictures of Sully.
To: Sully's New Owners:Here's what you need to know about Sully.
1. He likes chew toys.
2.Never leave anything on the floor - because he will chew it up. (he hasn't done this at his Foster Mom's house...although he has hauled my bedroom slippers out into the back yard...none the worse for a bit of dog slobber!)
3. He loves to sit on a couch - so get used to it.
4. He's a very happy dog and he loves dads.
5. He's playful.
6. Sometimes he pees on the floor when he gets excited. (he has not done this at Foster Moms so maybe he is past this!)
7. He will escape if you leave the door open. But the good news is that he will stop to pee, which will slow him down..Don't attempt to run barefooted to catch him -- it will hurt your feet!
8. He likes to chase cats. (Foster Mom has 3 and he will only chase them when they want him to...it is a game..as he also sleeps with my gray cat, Katie)
9. When he sits on the couch -- be prepared for him to sit on you.
10. He loves to be where you are -- and always or almost always likes to have something in his mouth all the time.
11. He really likes stuffed animals.
12. He loves to carry shoes around in his mouth.
13. He likes to play with other dogs.
14. He likes to carry "your treasures" outside and leaves them there.
15. Sully will melt your heart and provide you hours of love and entertainment.
16. Be careful when you go into a room and then turn around, you will probably bump into him.
We loved and will still love Sully. We would love to receive picture updates of him so if you can please email us pictures at (Foster mom will provide this when he is adopted)
He will be greatly missed...
