Bear is a darling boy, approximately 4 years old, who has obviously had a really rough start to his life! He was scared to death of everybody when he first came into rescue but he is slowly beginning to trust again in his foster home. Bear has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccinations but, unfortunately, he tested POSITIVE FOR HEARTWORM and will need to be treated soon. We are seeking help from the public to assist us with his vet bills, which will be significant. This precious boy deserves this chance. PLEASE... would you consider making a donation to help him? You can make a donation by clicking the Paypal link below or sending your donation to our address, also listed below. Any and all contributions will be gratefully accepted!

In addition, they often come into rescue with kennel cough, respiratory infections, malnutrition or other conditions associated with abuse, neglect, or life as a stray. Your donation, regardless of size, is always very gratefully accepted. Not one penny will EVER go to administrative or other frivolous costs.
