Update: Tom is now roaming with the other cats at his foster home. He is very good and never fights or acts aggressively. He is a very gentle cat.

Tom Sawyer is an 8 year old male neutered FIV+ cat who desperately needs a home. He is in a cage at the foster home and seems comfortable when the foster's dog goes near the cage. FIV cannot be transferred to dogs. Tom Sawyer would need to go to an only cat home or one with other FIV + cats. Please consider him. He is SO FRIENDLY.

He had a terrible abscess on his head that required a two week stay in the vet hospital. He's all better now, and would make a wonderful lap cat if given the chance.
