My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy! Zara here. I was running stray when the animal police picked me up. I was very scared at the shelter, so they marked me adoptable for rescue only. I just happened to be there when the folks here came to pick up someone else and they realized my “fear” is mostly of being left alone. I have lost my family (unfortunately, I didn’t have a tag or a chip) and I’m scared of losing anyone else.

I’m a young girl (very much a baby), have a good amount of Chihuahua in me and am spayed, UTD on my shots and heartworm negative. I had a little separation anxiety when I first arrived, but have really gotten comfortable and come out of my shell. I’m even confident enough to start learning some agility!
