My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cali is a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix whose owner moved into a nursing home; she was surrendered to county animal control and luckily routed to us to find a new home.

This gentle 8 year-old bursts with excitement when she sees a treat bag, but she’s very mellow overall. She’ll even dance for a treat! She seems most happy just following her people around, showing us her thoughts through those big Yoda ears.

Cali would be a good match for owners who want a low-energy dog that likes to snuggle. She could live with cats, dogs or well-behaved children.
